We’re digging into “Texafied” southern cooking, creamy pumpkin soup, and bumped up BLTs. First, we’re heading to Downtown Llano to try dishes at Badu 1981 inspired by the wild game hunting that the area is known for. This southern spot has everything from Chicken-fried Antelope to Venison Meatloaf. Then, we’re taking you to a former feed store turned antique shop and restaurant at Woerner Warehouse in Fredericksburg. Here, they’re rolling out colossal scratch-made desserts and serving up garden fresh salads and sky-high sandwiches. Last, we make our way to Spoons Cafe in McKinney, where there is a little something for everyone! It serves up signature breakfast all day and has 23 different sandwiches and paninis on the menu.
Don’t miss out on all of the action (and incredible H-E-B wines).

Love your show. this past weekend you had a restaurant in San Marcus but I can not remember the name of it. Can you give me the name of the Hill Country restaurant that was on tv in Houston Saturday 2-2 an Sunday 2-3?
Sure! It’s Palmer’s Restaurant and it’s fantastic! 🙂
