Going gluten-free? Well, there are tons of restaurants here to help you make dining out easy, even a few local favorites! Blue Corn Harvest in Austin is a Southwestern spot with scratch-made dishes that aren’t limited to gluten-free. I visited my friends at We Are Austin and shared some of their delicious options for brunch, plus H-E-B wines perfect for the holidays. Watch the segment here!
Tanji’s Wine Finds:
We’re starting with bubbles. The Mumm Napa Blanc De Blancs is bright with crisp apple and pears. I drink bubbles year-round, but especially during the holidays! $19
Next is Stoller Pinot Noir. It’s velvety and soft like every good pinot should be. In my opinion, sometimes California pintos can be a little too big, but this one isn’t going to overpower your tastebuds or whatever else you may be eating along with it. $24
Lastly, from one of the premier Bordeaux chateaus is the Clarendelle Rouge. This is a little heavier – you’ll feel like you’re wrapped up in a blanket. This is a great food-pairing wine with layers of dark fruit and tobacco. $18
As always, thank you to our good friends at KEYE CBS Austin! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Bonus: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
