It’s the ultimate definition of celebrating New Year’s Eve in style—join buzzy Spanish hotspot MAD, located in the heart of River Oaks District, for a party you won’t be able to stop talking about ’til 2021. Enjoy live DJ sounds along with an exclusive $125 prix-fixe menu. For those who like their veggies, there’s a vegan menu as well. The restaurant will also be hosting a 1920s-themed party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. that includes dancing, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a Champagne toast. Opt for something a little more nontraditional this year at Artisans. The $120 six-course French menu features dishes like oysters and smoked butter, lobster and salmon, and a sable ice cream yule log, and ends with a Champagne toast. Book your reservations to dine between 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Spend your New Year’s Eve at Backstreet Cafe for a three-course dinner complete with a sparkling cocktail midnight toast for $79 per person. Enjoy selections like Gulf Coast beignets, lobster chowder, and a New York strip. Return for brunch on New Year’s Day complete with black-eyed peas for good luck from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m!

The Grove Houston will host a special three-course dinner to ring in the New Year from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $45 per person and includes a glass of sparkling wine. Guests can start with options like a smoked Caesar salad or sweet potato bisque and enjoy a main course which includes options like N.Y strip steak or pan roasted gnocchi with winter squash, and end with a dessert trio.

Head to the coast and join Vargas Cut & Catch for New Year’s Eve in Galveston! Guests are invited to celebrate with a special four-course prix-fixe menu, cocktails, and more. For $135 per person, find a menu featuring delicious special items such as bacon-wrapped quail, lobster bisque, and ribeye topped Oscar-style with an Alaskan king crab.

Join B&B on New Year’s Eve for a fun, festive evening of delicious food, drinks, party favors, and (most importantly) live music and a DJ! Guests can order off the regular dinner menu and reservations are required. Recover and rehydrate at the “Hangover Cure Brunch” on New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy live music on the rooftop patio, a black-eyed pea special, IV drips from Bounce Hydration and oversized “Manmosas” (a mimosa in a pilsner glass)!

Looking for a chic New Year’s Eve celebration? Celebrate with an exquisite dinner tasting menu for $95 per person and a toast, as a DJ plays his lounge tunes on both floors/concepts. There will be a projector for the NYE countdown. Make your reservation to join anytime between 4 p.m to 11 p.m. at either Château at La Table or Marché at La Table. There will be special Champagne poured from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Enjoy three different seating times—at 6 p.m. enjoy a chef-prepared 3-course dinner; at 7 p.m. a 4-course dinner; or at 9:30 p.m. a 4-course dinner with dancing and a midnight Champagne toast. Pricing ranges from $50 to $140 person with the option to upgrade to a premium menu. Celebrate the New Year with TRIBUTE this year. Open for regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, hours are 6:30 to 11 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch, and 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner. TRIBUTE will be offering its regular menu for guests.

Yauatcha, the Chinese dim sum teahouse, will offer a special prix-fixe menu this NYE. Priced at $88 per person with an additional $38 for wine pairings—the menu features four multi-dish courses highlighting decadent restaurant signatures such as the Wagyu beef puff, lobster shui mai, stir-fry black bean pork, and more. A vegetarian menu will also be available.

Ring in the New Year at Houston’s favorite champagne destination, a’Bouzy! The regular dinner menu will be available on December 31st, plus a DJ beginning at 9:30pm! All-day specials of Dom Perignon ’06 for $99 a bottle. The party doesn’t stop… a’Bouzy is having a special New Year’s Day Brunch on January 1st from 10am until they close early at 6pm, featuring dishes from their new Winter Menu!
