We’ve eaten mountains of barbecue over the years — Brisket, pulled pork, sausage — Texas is a meat-lover’s paradise. There’s great barbecue in just about every town in the Lone Star State – but some joints are so darn good, they’re worth linin’ up for time and time again.

Pecan Creek Grille is one of the busiest breakfast joints in Houston – for good reason! Its signature oversized buttermilk pancakes are loaded with whatever you’re craving: berries, pecans, granola – even bacon! The popular restaurant also has a long list of salads during lunch that are full of greens and chopped veggies. Healthy options like this are what helped the owner, Brock Silverstein, lose over 90 pounds!
