Celebrated chef Johnny Hernandez has a new location for his flagship restaurant – La Gloria Brooks in San Antonio – and visitors are in for a real treat! Mesquite-grilled meats, traditional ceviches, and award-winning margaritas are the specialty here, but make sure you leave room for dessert. Chef Johnny’s ‘Chocoflan’ is a fantastic creation of classic caramel flan topped with a rich and fluffy piece of chocolate cake. And exclusively for Goodtaste, chef Johnny shared his personal recipe for his favorite salsa to go with grilled meats.
