It’s Super Bowl time! Whether you’re planning to go all out at home, or keep things low key with a few buds, Chef Belinda of H-E-B Cooking Connection shows us her way to whip up some incredibly juicy Korean Fire-Grilled Steak Tacos on the grill!
These are grass-fed, all-natural beef tacos made with roasted sesame seed, Kewpie mayo (for sizzle) and a Korean-inspired slaw for extra topping and taste…
Chef Belinda has some great tips for cooking the steak, including her “5-5-5” rule: 5 minutes on side one, 5 minutes on side two, and then an additional 5 minutes resting on your cutting board. If you slice into the steak too early, all of the juices will escape! The result is a beautiful, pale pink Medium Rare center. Slice against the grain for the best cut.
We plated ours on homemade chargrilled tortillas (a blend of wheat and corn) with added pico de gallo, plus more of the fresh Korean BBQ marinade and sesame honey cruchies. Talk about a mouthful! May the best team win!
