Yes, Ambrosia could be the nectar of the Gods…especially this delicious version from talented Haven chef and owner Randy Evans.
Haven’s quick rise to the top as one of the ‘must do’ restaurants in Houston is easy to understand. Chef Evans uses the freshest local ingredients available whether it’s for a delicate strawberry and arugula salad or a rich, savory grilled fish with creamed cabbage. Don’t forget to try the shrimp corn dogs too that come with a shooter of Texas lemonade. There’s so much more…
Watch how Chef Evans creates this beautiful Ambrosia – it’s the unexpected ingredient that sets it apart from all others you’ve ever tasted.
Watched this video and made the ambrosia at home….delicious…had to guess at the quanity of ingredients for the lemon curd, but I believe I came close to the real thing. I live in Magnolia, Tx. and will try to get down to the Haven and try the ambrosia you make and see how close I come to getting it right. Love to cook! Thanks for the video demo! Irene
same reaction as person before me. would like to have specific quantities for curd. and also, no place to print our recipe.
will get to Haven (not heaven) soon. Randy spoke to a group a few weeks ago, what a nice guy!
