There’s an interesting religious farming community just outside of Waco that’s becoming known for its artisan cheeses and grains. A number of your best restaurants in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas serve their products.
They don’t use high tech farm machinery, and they let the land ‘rest’ every seven years because of a scripture in the Bible.
We took our cameras to Waco to Homestead Heritage see what all the buzz is about.
Speaking of those artisan cheeses….here’s a sample. And check out their website.
