Eva Longoria’s ties to Texas are big and bright! Eva’s Heroes, a charitable organization co-founded by the actress and partner Christiane Perkins-Garcia, is something very near and dear to Eva’s heart.
The non-profit helps teens and young adults who have special challenges. Eva says her sister Lisa is one of these people and a great inspiration to her at that!
Eva was in San Antonio recently, and demonstrated how to make her delicious guacamole for our Goodtaste.tv cameras. It’s one of the recipes included in her cookbook Eva’s Kitchen. Eva is as beautiful in person as she is on TV – inside and out!
For more information on Eva’s benevolent causes, please visit the Eva’s Heroes website. And be sure to get your tix for her 5th Annual Celebrity Casino Night…it’s always a good time.
Tanji,
Congrats on a fabulous post with Eva and thanks for your support for such a fantastic organization!! Look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Hi Tanji! I love your intro music.. makes me want to click my fingers. I like your posts, so “keep me posted”! You and Eva were great! I definitely will try the avocado dip recipe (I will secretly toss in a few chopped white onions.)
This is going to be a fabulous event Tanji. I look forward to sharing some of the royal family’s favorite dishes and helping raise money for such a great charity. And of course to hanging out with you again.
I cannot wait to try your dish! I use your cookbook ‘Eating Royally’ all the time….it’s wonderful! See ya Saturday!!
