Not many restaurants can boast 55 years in business. It’s an incredible accomplishment for La Fonda Alamo Heights, and one they’re just as proud of! In order to bring their customers in on the festivities, this local Tex Mex eatery is giving back in a BIG way. On March 9th, the date of their 55th anniversary, La Fonda’s reverting back to its original menu — the same one you’d find there over half a century ago — with original prices intact! All day long enjoy full enchilada and taco plates for only a couple of bucks. My favorite, the Special #2 with queso, is only $1.35…total! See more sample prices below. Children’s plates are just .50 cents. And Juan’s famous margaritas? $1.25. This is definitely the place to be!
