Two Texas food icons are coming together to bring a little bit of Italy to San Antonio!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 21 at Sustenio as the beautiful Éilan Hotel Resort & Spa plays host to a special four-course Italian dinner from the James Beard award-winning chef, Stephan Pyles, and Texas-based artisan cheesemaker Paula Lambert.
Applauded as one of America’s pioneer artisanal cheesemakers, Paula is the author of The Cheese Lover’s Cookbook and Guide (2000) and Cheese, Glorious Cheese! (2007). Her Dallas-based Mozzarella Company produces over 30 artisanl cheeses, all of which she has created and developed herself! Paula’s cheeses have won hundreds of awards and accolades and are sold throughout the USA to fine restaurants and stores.
In addition to opening multiple restaurants in Texas, Chef Pyles has also authored four highly successful cookbooks and hosted two seasons of the Emmy Award-Winning PBS series “New Tastes from Texas.” What a dynamic duo!
Each course on Saturday will be paired with a select wine from Italy…
