These Apple Blossoms [above] are as decorative as they are delicious! Try with everything from caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream to extra sharp cheddar cheese. The Gala apples are sliced and arranged in layers atop our sugary puff pastry. YUM!
It just wouldn’t be Christmas without Gingerbread Cookies. This interpretation of the classic confection comes from Bakery Lorraine in San Antonio. Kids will get a kick out of using the decorator’s icing for the design, which btw, is whatever you’d like it to be! We kept ours simple with a smile. 🙂
These baby Bourbon Balls are infused with your favorite bourbon (we used Bulleit), chilled and dipped into melted chocolate to set. A big hit for any holiday parties from the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, but remember, adults only!
Deck the halls with decadent Dark Chocolate Walnut Brownies. Fresh-baked and gluten-free from my friends at the cozy Forthright cafe near Ladybird Lake in South Austin.
