Wine’d down your 2017 at Zinc Bistro & Wine Bar as the restaurant holds a delicious dinner inside their wine cellar. It’s going to be a night of exceptional food — perfect for kicking off the New Year!
In case you’ve never experienced the beautiful Zinc Bistro, watch our recent episode above where we introduce you to this locally loved spot for fine wine and amazing appetizers. One of my favorites is their 2-Alarm Hummus (get the recipe for it here). The wine dinners at Zinc are truly among the VERY best in the city.
The cocktail reception amuse bouche will feature prosciutto wrapped Medjool dates, salmon rillettes with fennel pollen and crème fraiche, fried Gulf oysters with smoked ham hock and pickled mustard seed hollandaise. Enjoy Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs and Fortant Grenache Rosé. The cocktail reception starts at 7:45 p.m.
First course will feature a Fuji apple endive salad with Point Reyes Bleu Cheese and candied walnuts. Second course is an Ahi tuna carpaccio with shaved fennel, arugula, roasted red peppers and Kalamata olives. Intermezzo will be a blood orange sorbet and cardamom. The entree will feature chateaubriand with Hudson Valley foie gras butter, winter black truffle mashed potatoes, roasted baby beets, Brussel Sprouts, patty pan squash, Chanterelle mushrooms and sauce Bordelaise.

Dinner starts at 8:30 p.m and is $125 per person, plus 8.25% sales tax and 20% gratuity.
