If you still haven’t taken care of your Valentine’s Day plans, don’t stress. Join me as I visit my friends at San Antonio Living and share some of my top recommendations that still have room for you! I’m sharing some truly delicious dishes from Nonna Osteria, Silo Prime, and Southerleigh that’ll make for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day. I have many favorites, so a few more honorable mentions are Zinc Bistro as a great value option, Signature for a splurge-worthy meal and Aldaco’s for a dinner with a view. A few tips: Celebrate the special day on Friday or Saturday, or, instead of dinner, go out for lunch! For drinking, I also have five wines that will pair perfectly with your Valentine’s celebration. Tanji’s Wine Finds:

For something sparkling, try the Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne. Champagnes scream celebration, so there’s no doubt you’ll win with this option. $38

Just released this week is the JNSQ Rosé Cru. The California-made wine comes in a gorgeous perfume-like bottle, so you won’t even have to gift wrap it. $28

The Calling Chardonnay is one of the best. This winemaker consistently wins awards; the wine received 91 points from Wine Advocate. It would make a great gift for someone who loves Chardonnay. $27

Next, is the H3 Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Crest in Washington state. Wine Spectator gave this pick 90 points which isn’t given out often to bottles of this price — it’s an amazing find. $11

Lastly, check out this California cab — Educated Guess Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s a full-bodied wine that is of incredible value. $20

As always, thank you to our good friends at San Antonio Living! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Don’t forget: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
