AUSTIN
Blue Corn Harvest
Feeling a little wild? Pop into Blue Corn Harvest and order the 1824 Margarita Flight, which features four 3-ounce frozen margaritas in all different flavors, including one with a floater of 1824 Blanco!
Güero’s Taco Bar
Pair a hot tamale or two with one of Güero’s Taco Bar’s signature margaritas. We’re partial to the Desert Rose, made with fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and Cointreau.
Hula Hut
How do you like your frozen margaritas: single-flavored or swirled? Customize your Frozen Ritas at Hula Hut, or order a top-shelf Wipeout Margarita for a taste of luxury!
Fonda San Miguel
Fonda San Miguel carries just four kinds of margaritas, but each one is fabulous. Order a Pepino Pica—a cucumber-serrano margarita—or ask the knowledgeable wait staff about which other concoction you should try.
Z’Tejas
What’s not to love about $5 house margaritas? That’s what you’ll get all day on National Margarita Day at Z’Tejas. Except from 5-6pm and 9-10pm they will only be $1! Don’t forget to order one of the restaurant’s creative small bites, like Catfish Beignets or Yuca Fries, to tide you over before your second round.
DALLAS/FORT WORTH
Smoky Rose
At Smoky Rose, happy hour isn’t just on Mondays and Tuesdays. The restaurant celebrates from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, which means there’s always a good reason to sip a Casa Dragones Reposado Margarita or a classic marg on the rocks.
Lambeau’s America
Deep in the heart of Dallas, order yourself a Frozen House Margarita with a Sangria Swirl from Lambeau’s. Or give a nod to our neighbors up north with the Chicago Fire Rita, which will test your limits with blazing-hot Ghost tequila.
940’s Kitchen & Cocktails
When you sit down at 940’s Kitchen & Cocktails, the very first thing you must do is order a Spicy Boy Margarita on draft. The rest is up to you.
Barley & Board
If you’re a sucker for seasonal fare, you’ll love Barley & Board’s inspired beverages. But you can always count on a classic margarita with a dash of orange to be on the restaurant’s bar menu!
Scruffy Duffies
One of the hottest sports bars in Dallas, with 22 screens and over-the-top bites like the trash can nachos and pizza fries, has a jalapeño marg to match. While cheering on your team and noshing on their creative dishes, wash it down with this spicy sipper.
HOUSTON
Hugo’s
Hugo’s takes margaritas so seriously, there’s an entire section of the beverage menu devoted to them! Try a fruity Malinche with pineapple juice and peach brandy, the Oaxacan Rita featuring smoky mezcal, or keep it classic with a La Pureza.

Pair a refreshing “Irma-Rita” with Mexican specialty dishes like Carne Guisada at Irma’s Original! The restaurant takes a cue from seasonal and local produce, and the food menu features 16 new items every day.
Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen
The margarita menu at Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen boasts all the classics—order a Skinny Margarita, a spicy Jalapeño Casarita, or a super-premium Roca Margarita. You know what they say: If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!
El Toro
At El Toro, all margaritas are made with fresh-squeezed lime juice and organic agave nectar. Although the Tex-Mex restaurant has an extensive margarita selection to begin with, it also offers specialty margs for occasions like Valentine’s Day!
The Annie Café & Bar
The Annie’s margaritas are a sight to behold. Take, for example, the Whatamelon Margarita, which features a spicy-salty rim, fresh watermelon and lime juice, and a generous garnish of aromatic mint.
SAN ANTONIO
El Mirasol
At El Mirasol, choose from their famous Chispas Mirasol, a tart low-calorie margarita, the 16-ounce Frozen Mirasol Margarita, or the fan-favorite Watermelon Margarita. Any one of these drinks will pair nicely with the tender Tacos al Pastor on fluffy homemade flour tortillas. See their segment on Goodtaste with Tanji here!
Boudro’s
You’ll be swept away by the scenic beauty of the River Walk at one of our favorite local spots, Boudro’s. Grab a coveted seat outside and order the ever-popular frozen Prickly Pear Margarita. Hungry? The Texas filet and Duck 3 Ways are both a must-order.
La Fogata
La Fogata’s orchid-topped margaritas taste as good as they look. Oh, and there are over 6 to choose from! Each month, a different tequila is featured, and their margaritas can be customized with everything from liqueur toppers to fresh fruit.
