Great news for lovers of romantic nights and memorable celebrations just in time for Valentine’s Day, Artisans, the fantastic French restaurant that is known for exquisite food and service is now open in its NEW location at 5745 Westheimer. We spent a holiday dinner there recently with friends and loved every minute. The decor is elegant and inviting. And yes, that famous Artisan’s Chef’s Table where you can catch all of the action in the creative kitchen is even bigger and better.
It is a special experience to watch the talented chefs meticulously create each and every dish.
Chef Jacques Fox is the man behind the unique concept. His love of food and cooking started at a very young age. He was inspired by his grandmother’s Polish meals, and his grandfather’s extensive gardening.
“As a child I would watch them cook, completely captivated by the way they transformed simple ingredients into something extraordinary.”
After graduating from culinary school, Fox moved to Paris, where he worked as a chef at a world-renowned seafood restaurant. He has since traveled the world, working under prestigious chefs and learning new techniques along the way. In addition to many other accolades, Fox was also knighted as Chevalier of the Agricole National Order of Merit from the French Republic. You can read more about his impressive career here.
For Fox, cooking is more than just an occupation.
“Every dish I prepare tells a story, and I am constantly inspired by the rich history, the artistry and the endless learning that comes with being a chef.”
Artisans is open seven days a week, visit their new location, and experience the best of eclectic French cuisine right in the Bayou City. You’ll love the location too–not far from the Galleria and the restaurant has its own private parking lot with valet. C’est magnifique!
