Join me at the 2nd Annual Slow Food South Texas Harvest Gala! The group’s mission is to help make clean, locally grown, nutritious foods accessible to everyone. Definitely something I like to support. The event is Saturday, November 3rd at 6 PM at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Beer and wine is included in the ticket price, with Texas local products like Alamo Beer and Ranger’s Creek. Here’s a breakdown of the various chefs and farmers involved this year…
Chefs: Michael Sohocki of Restaurant Gwendolyn, Chad Carey of The Monterey, Tim the Girl, John Russ of Luke, Joseph Dominguez of the San Antonio Food Bank with a team from the SA Food Bank Community Kitchen Program, and teams from the CIA and the Art Institute.
