Fifty two beers and ciders — and your very own, customized Pewter Beer Stein…with YOUR NAME on it! Invest in a mug, and they’ll keep yours hanging from the ceiling for when you next return. Right now, the count is somewhere around 1100!
The fun doesn’t stop there at Boondoggles Pub. It’s been 15 years of brewing bliss at their location near Clear Lake, with today’s focus falling primarily on trending craft beers and recommendations from regulars and the like. At any given moment, there are a rotating bunch of fifteen different beers and ciders on tap!
Believe it or not, this pub also doubles as a low key, family grill with some seriously good eats! Manager James Venezia shared with Goodtaste cameras a few of their signature menu items below. Boondoggles is especially known for their pizzas made from scratch and tossed in their impressive wood fire pizza oven. Famous pizzas like the Bruschetta [above] — a freshly baked pizza crust topped with goat cheese, provolone and Parmesan, and layered with garlic, tomatoes, and basil. It’s finished in a sweet, savory balsamic reduction. What a beautiful presentation…and even better to scarf down with an ice cold beer.
