True to form within the craft beer culture, Oskar Blues (OB) has a long standing reputation for being ground breaking. Touted as the first U.S. craft brewery to can its own beer, in 2013 OB packaged and distributed 119,000 barrels of craft beer to 35 states…how’s THAT for statistics?!

CAN you dig it?! Find your way to frosted bliss at Oskar Blues – the original craft brewery that came in a can. Based now in Longmont, CO., the beer has been a’brewin’ since 1998, when an impromptu batch was made in the basement of Oskar Blues Restaurant.
Texas Beer Festival a big success
We had a great time at the first ever Texas Beer Fest at the Humble Civic Center. About 200 craft beers were there for the tasting. The event was put on by the Craft Brewing Revolutionary Guard, and the cool thing is they bought all the beer being sold at the fest—great way to support local breweries!
