
Cedar Smoked Salmon with a Sesame Ginger Glaze
Wild caught - and ready in 10 minutes! You can't beat this cedar smoked salmon from H-E-B's Cooking Connection. Plus, diabetic friendly!
Ingredients
- 2 6 oz. portion of salmon
- 1-2 teaspoons Ottavio Private Reserve Olive Oil
- 2-3 teaspoons Adam’s Reserve Asian Spice
- 1/3 jar Green Valley Ranch Reserve Sesame Ginger Dressing
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- green onions or leeks chopped, as garnish
Instructions
- Soak cedar plank in water according to package directions, at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
- Heat grill to medium-high. Season salmon portions with olive oil and Asian Spice. Place filets on cedar plank and then put the plank on the grill.
- Cover the grill and allow salmon to cook 10-12 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees.
- While salmon is cooking, heat a small skillet to medium-high. Add orange juice and Sesame Ginger dressing. Allow mixture to come to a boil while constantly stirring until the sauce thickens, 2-3 minutes.
- Remove salmon from grill. Glaze with Sesame Ginger and garnish with green onions or chopped leeks.
