What is the best brand of extra virgin olive oil with the lowest acidity. I have read it should be alkaline. Thank you !

Hi Cindy,
There are many wonderful products out there. I have two kinds of olive oil in my kitchen—one for cooking and one for drizzling over salads, veggies, etc. For cooking, I like Whole Foods Greek Olive Oil and one HEB sells in its Cooking Connections….and for special dishes I use Laudemio, which I get at Central Market. Keep in mind, olive oils do age. I always check the date on the bottle—you want to buy the oil as close to its press date as possible. 🙂
