It was at a grand oyster and wine tasting in Houston that I got a chance to pair one of my all time favorite Sauv Blancs – Girard Sauvignon Blanc – with some re-discovered oysters from a centuries old reef in Galveston Bay.
And to make it all that much sweeter, Girard’s wine maker Marco DiGuilio was on hand. Our cameras caught up with Marco the following morning at the Bunker Hill H-E-B where you can find all of the Girard wines. Don’t forget the reds!!
