Now here’s a popular restaurant that I’ve been coming to since Day 1: Stone Werks. Three locations around the Alamo City (Lincoln Heights, The Vineyard, and The Rim) together share an impressive history…over twenty years of serving San Antonio! They’re also a longtime Sysco customer.
There’s a little something for everyone on their diverse menu. What’s more, Stone Werks is starting to introduce extra options for local, seasonal, and chef driven items like this gorgeous tomato watermelon salad with generous chunks of feta and basil layered in….it’s so simple and can be done as a last minute, tasty addition to any backyard BBQ.
Corporate Chef Tomme Johnson led our colorful cooking demonstration. He also shared his picks for other autumn entrées appearing on the Stone Werks menu, including a rotisserie-style pork chop served with a roasted Yukon Gold potatoes, honey time glazed carrots, and a prized peach gastrique. Enjoy!
