The fabulousness of Sysco’s local sources shows in our selected sites below. The search for quality produce has led us to our own backyard — and what better place to begin. Responding to the rising demand for local and sustainable products, Goodtaste.tv has joined FreshPoint’s initiative, Eat Southwest Fresh, by linking the farmer directly to YOU — the customer!
To kick off the local Southwest produce season, we want you to meet the farmers: See who they are, the products they grow, as well as their farming methods. These men and women are our neighbors, family member and friends; hard working folks who cover the entire state and keep us well fed!
Here’s a few of Central Texas’ own. Help us stay committed to supporting local produce…
