Sweet A.M. Starter: Chocolate Crêpes

Start your Valentine’s Day off with something sweet in the morning! These Chocolate Crêpes from our friends at Bistro Menil are light and airy and will definitely earn you an early morning smooch! They’re filled with bananas and chocolate-hazelnut spread. Get the recipe here.

Smooch-Worthy Snacks

These naughty nibblers are sure to please your sweetie! These Chocolate Covered Jerky treats from 44 Steaks feature crunchy Honey-Toasted Pecans. Get the recipe here.

Who knew chocolate could have a starring role in salsa? Our friends at Central Market blended this Cocoa Chipotle Salsa together for a truly “smooch-worthy” snack. It’s made with chipotles in adobo sauce and real cocoa powder. Get the recipe here.

We have another chocolate surprise for you, except this time it’s in salad! This Strawberry, Fennel, and Arugula Salad with Vanilla Bean Vinaigrette features just a hint of chocolate in the form of cacao nibs. Get the recipe here.

Treat Your Date Like a Queen (Or King!)

Make a meal fit for the Queen (or King) of your house! We love Darren McGrady’s (also known as ‘The Royal Chef’) Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Burgundy Chocolate Sauce. This is one of Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite meals. We love it with his Kale and Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes. McGrady, the former chef for Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II, makes it for you in the video below.

If you’re making a royal family ready recipe, you may as well splurge on a great wine! We absolutely love Raymond Winery’s Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon for $35, but their entry-level “R” Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is also fantastic for $11 a bottle. More details on these wines right here.

Dazzling Desserts

We get a bit starry-eyed looking at this Chocolate Kahlúa Cake from Central Market. It has a splash of orange flavor and a rich ganache topping…hubba hubba! Get the recipe here.

Is there any thing sweeter than homemade truffles? These Rum Chocolate Truffles from The Woodlands Resort have a big effect, but don’t take long to prepare. Get the recipe for them here.

Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial was made for celebrating! Get more details on this bubbly Rosé right here.

Cupid’s Favorite Cocktails

Cupid’s arrow made its way to Harold’s in Houston! Their Chocolate Covered Cherry Manhattan is divine! Garnish however you like, but we love it with a chocolate covered cherry like Harold’s styles it.

While it’s still cold, snuggle up with your sweetie with this luxurious, but easy concoction. Get the recipe for Red Wine Hot Chocolate right here.
