We try a brisket quesadilla, a crispy wood-fired pizza, and a stuffed crab taco. First, we make a stop in Tomball for a taste of the craft beer, craft cocktails, and craft food at Craft Grill. We’ll slice into its legendary chicken-fried steak made with a 21-day wet-aged certified Angus beef and wash it down with one of Craft Grill’s 75 wines! Next, we’ll pay a visit to the folks at The Garden Company in small-town Schulenburg, who are churning out big-time dishes. This spot, which is halfway between Houston and San Antonio, makes some of the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever tasted! We end our road trip in Denton, where we hang out at a local place that’s part bistro and part bar. At 940's Kitchen & Cocktails, the cocktails are on tap and the shrimp and grits come with Shishito peppers.
