Family and a longtime love of traditional Tex Mex cuisine have made the Lopez clan’s beloved Mexican Restaurant a fixture in the greater Houston area for exactly thirty five years! Ever had a habanero margarita? This crafty cocktail, along with many other incredible dishes are available six days a week for lunch and dinner. Sunday, of course, is for family.
The Spicy Habanero Margarita is a new house favorite. Their take on the classic frozen margarita topped with the restaurant’s in-house habanero syrup, rimmed with TAJÍN; a chile lime salt. An absolute must-do when dining in.
There’s a certain artistry to the food presentations at Lopez. We sampled the Paloma Salad for something light…it’s exquisite! A fresh spring mix tossed in Honey-Citrus Vinaigrette, topped with Granny Smith apples, slices of grilled chicken breast, and covered with Cotija cheese and candy spiced walnuts. So good!
Be sure to try the beef fajitas…among the restaurant’s most popular menu items featuring Sysco Certified Angus Beef. A sizzling display of deliciousness every time another order is up.
