Mondavi Crush

October 12, 2008 By Tanji Leave a Comment

New Restaurant to Try

October 11, 2008 By Tanji Leave a Comment

Another new restaurant in the Stone Oak area for you to try called Tresca’s. It’s located in The Plaza at Concord Park on Sonterra Blvd. I’m a huge fan of it’s owner – Dan Ward from Piatti’s and Luca. Dan’s warm management style not only attracts top staff but also loyal customers.

August 31, 2008 By Tanji Leave a Comment

I’ve got a fun road trip for you today. It’s one of Texas oldest wineries in the beautiful Hill Country near Lake Buchanan.

Check out Fall Creek Vineyards – It’s about 20 minutes north of Marble Falls. Ask to see their famous Louis Pasteur doors.

Wine bars are becoming more and more popular. They’re a great place to sample a variety of different wines. If you’re a pinot noir fan, wine bars can offer you a chance to experiment and try several different pinots at the same time – a fun experience for your palate.

A Good Time to Get to Know Wine

August 5, 2008 By Tanji Leave a Comment

I think most wine experts would agree that it would be practically impossible to learn everything there is to know about wine. The more I learn the more I realize how much more there is to learn. Mike and I have taken a variety of courses, read a number of books and still the pursuit […]

If you’re interested in wine, fabulous food and amazing places all over the world that are famous for both, you’re in the right place. I’ve traveled the world as an Emmy award winning journalist and vacationing mom – good food, good wine and good times seem to go hand-in-hand.
