What a fun weekend! Rob and Lydia Mondavi recently invited me to their ‘Crush for Beauty’ event in Napa. It’s a big day because Rob harvests the cabernet grapes from his Osso vineyards for his wine, and Lydia uses everything but the grape juice for her 29 Cosmetics.
Another new restaurant in the Stone Oak area for you to try called Tresca’s. It’s located in The Plaza at Concord Park on Sonterra Blvd. I’m a huge fan of it’s owner – Dan Ward from Piatti’s and Luca. Dan’s warm management style not only attracts top staff but also loyal customers.
With the popularity of wine at an all time high, more and more places are specializing in wine. Wine Styles on Huebner at Bitters is a very fun wine boutique that has a special event for ladies once a month called “Women Gone Wine” It’s popular and it’s fun!
I’ve got a fun road trip for you today. It’s one of Texas oldest wineries in the beautiful Hill Country near Lake Buchanan.
Check out Fall Creek Vineyards – It’s about 20 minutes north of Marble Falls. Ask to see their famous Louis Pasteur doors.
