This week on Goodtaste with Tanji, we dine on bright, zesty ceviches, try to eat a burger bigger than our heads, and visit one of the oldest and most beautiful wineries in Texas. To tease your palate a little more, here are 3 more things you can’t miss in this week’s BRAND NEW episode of Goodtaste with Tanji Season 4.
1. Giving Back In A Big Way

Moris Saide, owner of Costa Pacifica, does a lot more than serve up some of the freshest seafood in Texas. He also gives back to his home country, Mexico, through a charity that he started when we was just 18 years old. His nonprofit, Dr. Sonrisas (Dr. Smiles), has granted wishes to children with terminal illnesses in more than 20 cities across Mexico. Find out more about Saide’s mission this weekend on Goodtaste!
2. NBA Private Chef to Burger Master
Before opening his school-bus-turned-popular-restaurant, chef/owner Justin Turner of Bernie’s Burger Bus was a personal chef for former Houston Rocket forward, Shane Battier. When Battier is in town these days, he always stops in for one of Turner’s hulking burger masterpieces.
3. From Cattle to Wine
Ed and Susan Auler, founders of Fall Creek Vineyards, first became passionate about wine on a cattle-buying trip to France in 1975. The couple, who still owns cattle today, fell in love with French wines. So much so, that they ended up spending only three days of their trip on cattle ranches and the remaining three weeks learning about wine at French chateaus. They planted their vines in the Texas Hill Country that same year and opened their winery four years later.
Tune in this weekend for incredible food, wine and MORE on this week’s ALL NEW episode of Goodtaste with Tanji.
