The Woodlands Wine and Food Week is a must do on my calendar each year. This year’s foodie extravaganza is June 2-8 and will feature more than 500 wines, 50 restaurants, legendary wine producers, culinary personalities, and a vast collection of craft beers and gourmet food purveyors.

This is so easy to make! What a dish from Chef Byron Bergeron of the Fig Tree. The best part is that you can buy a pre-made Crème Brulee from H-E-B or Central Market, and then dress it up with these caramelized bananas.
Royal chef’s delicious ‘burnt cream’
Royal Chef Darren McGrady not only worked for the queen for years but also for Princess Di and yes, Princes William and Harry. Watch as he creates a palace favorite—crème brulee or as the royals like to say ‘burnt cream’. Truly a dessert fit for a queen!
