Known for its beautiful patio with the relaxing waterfall and its sleek indoor decor (complete with floating fireplace!), Masraff’s on the boulevard always has something enticing. I was an instant fan with their garlic-seared calamari and their pristine white, delicious crab cake.

My First (hopefully not last) Pachamanca
It’s harvest time at Texas wineries, and one Hill Country vineyard celebrated with a tradition that dates back to the Incas. At the La Cruz del Comal winery just west of New Braunfels, the harvesting of the grapes started at sunrise.
Perfect Hill Country Getaway
I found the most charming, unique bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg called the Cotton Gin Village. It features seven cabins decked out in Texas style with all the modern amenities you’d ever need like satellite TV, working kitchens and Jacuzzi tubs.
