A true hidden gem that literally rests on a hilltop in between San Antonio and Austin, Driftwood Estates Winery has been in the local wine business since the vineyard was first planted in 1998. This property is absolutely incredible!

Hatch green chilies are here, and they’re fabulous. I just made the rounds at Central Market tasting, testing and LOVING every minute of it. Since they roast them right there at the store, that intoxicating aroma is everywhere. And, it’s great fun to go from station to station trying the different products.

The study was conducted by an apparently well respected research institute in London (from the quick Google search I did). The reporter instinct in me is skeptical on many levels.
